Welcome to Loch Lomond Stables’ first event! The “Riddle Me This” Mounted Orienteering St. Patrick’s Day Event. This will be somewhere between Mounted Orienteering, Endurance, and a treasure hunt. Get your most sure-footed horses and ponies out for a fast-paced long distance riding event. Arm yourself with a map, a compass, and your clues before you set off on an adventure. Deadline: May 18th. May extend if needed. Roleplay wise, this takes place on March 17th, 2024 Setting: Set in Scotland in a fictional town along Loch Lomond. If you forgo them long enough, things will quantify and will find a way to catch up to you either in depression, illness, burnout, creative blocks, and social repercussions. At the barest minimum, remember the 6/2/1 rule (6 hours of sleep; 2 meals; 1 shower each day) and to take a walk at least once a day. - Breaks are healthy. It's okay to step back for a bit. Whether that's because you're going on vacation or you feel like focusing on doing a different kind of art for a month or two. It's good for your creativity and mental well being. Remember: for every hour of work, take a break and move around for 15 minutes. It's good for your mind and body. - Not
